Good to know — how this works.
This is a charging and cooling base, not a TV dock. Your genuine Nintendo Switch 2 (or Switch) Video Dock sits in the slot on top, and this base powers and cools it. The genuine Video Dock is required for TV output and console charging — this base adds cooling, controller charging, storage and lighting around it.
Active Cooling — 3 Speeds
A built-in fan accelerates heat dissipation while your console runs in the dock during long TV sessions. Three fan speeds — High, Medium, Low, Off — cycle from a single touch button, and the fan remembers its last speed after power-off.
Charges Up to 5 Controllers at Once
Side slots charge two pairs of Switch / Switch 2 Joy-Con (four controllers) at the same time, plus a Pro Controller through an adjustable charging port that switches between the Switch Pro and Switch 2 Pro positions. Each port shows red while charging and green on standby or fully charged.
PD Fast-Charge Pass-Through
Powered by your original Switch 2 adapter (Type-C 20V 3A), the base passes Power Delivery fast charging through the Video Dock to the console at full rated speed. Two USB outputs (5V / 1A each) add extra charging for accessories.
20 Game Card Slots
Twenty built-in slots keep your entire game card library organised and within reach at the dock station — no separate card holder, no hunting through drawers.
9-Mode RGB Ambient Lighting
RGB lighting wraps the body with nine modes — red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, plus fast and slow rainbow breathing — cycled by a touch button with power-off memory. Hold the button for 2 seconds to switch the lighting off.
